Not specifically about your setup but try using a key in hex rather than ASCII if possible. Also I found on my 7004 the key selection is one-based (ie options 1 through 4), whereas on my Compaq card they're zero-based - I had to set the SMC to use "WEP key 2" and the Compaq to use "key index 1" to get it to work.
